Smoked chicken w/ Lemon Cilantro cream sauce over linguine pasta

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts

1# linguine pasta

Olive oil

1 shallot diced

2 cloves minced garlic

1 Tbsp chopped capers

1 Tbsp dijon mustard

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 bunch minced cilantro

5 sprigs minced dill

Lemon juice & zest

1 Tbsp or to taste Slap ya Mama

Directions:

For the chicken, season with Slap Ya Mama and cook on the Traeger at 500 degrees until the internal temperature reaches 165. For the pasta, in a large pot, bring water to a boil with salt, then add the pasta. Cool till al dente. For the sauce, add olive oil to a sauté pan or sauce pot. On medium to low heat, add the shallots and garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add Dijon and cream, whisk to incorporate. After the sauce thickens a bit, add herbs, lemon juice/zest, capers, and salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh herbs, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
