Shrimp and Grits
10-15 Raw Shrimp
1 link Andouille sausage
1 c. Instant Grits
4 c. Milk
1 c. Shredded Gouda
½ c. Shredded Cheddar
Green Onion
Slap Ya Mama Seasoning
Olive Oil
Directions:
Cover uncooked shrimp in Slap Ya Mama seasoning and set aside. Slice and quarter the Andouille sausage and sauté until browned. Set aside cooked sausage on a paper towel lined plate to soak up extra fat.
For the grits, heat milk to soft boil. Add grits, whisking continuously until it thickens. Next, whisk in both cheeses. Remove from heat.
Sauté shrimp in olive oil on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
Plate grits first then sprinkle the shrimp and Andouille on top.
Garnish with diced green onion.
