Chipotle Chicken Alfredo

Serves 2

Ingredients:

2 chicken breast

1/2 lb fettuccine

Rub for chicken:

1 tsp chipotle chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Bragg 24 herbs & spices

Dash of cayenne

Salt/pepper

For Alfredo sauce:

1/4 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup heavy cream

4 oz cream cheese

Garlic clove minced

1 tsp chipotle chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Bragg 24 herbs & spices

Dash of cayenne

1 cup pecorino Romano

Salt/pepper

Directions:

Boil some salted water and cook your fettuccine noodles. At the same time, add seasoning to the chicken and sauté in a pan. Cook until internal temp of 165 degree. Let rest then slice and set aside. Melt the butter and cream cheese in the same pan the chicken was cooked in and deglaze the pan. Add the heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes. Add garlic and the seasonings. Add the pecorino Romano last, whisk until all melted and incorporated. Strain your noodles and combine with the Alfredo sauce and chicken. Plate. Garnish with lemon zest, juice, grated parm and cracked black pepper.
