Fried Brussels Sprouts

Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

1/2 lb of Brussels sprouts

Frying oil

1/2 cup Crunch n’ Munch toffee popcorn

1/4 cup Picosos’ hot chile peanuts

Balsamic glaze

Slap ya Mama season to taste

Directions:

In a soup pot, get 3-4 cups of your choice of frying oil. Heat oil to 350 degrees.

Prep a bowl with paper towels.

Cut the stem and quarter Brussels sprouts. Season with Slap ya Mama.

Once oil is to temp, put cut sprouts In a frying basket and slowly lower into frying oil. (Note: take it slow and watch your temp of the oil. If you have to, fry in batches.) Fry until golden brown.

Transfer to the prepped bowl to soak up the oil. Take the paper towel out of the bowl and add the peanuts and popcorn. Toss to combine. Plate and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
